The Law Firm FORTON Legal Łatała i Wspólnicy as a Partner of the 14th Listed Company Investor Relations Congress SEG

The XIV Listed Companies Investor Relations Congress organised by the Polish Association of Listed Companies (SEG) took place in the Congress Centre of the Warszawianka Hotel in Jachranka on 14-15 June 2023. FORTON Legal was a Partner of the event.

During the Congress, we discussed issues relevant to investor relations departments of listed companies. The conference focused on such topics as communication with institutional and individual investors, changes in the organisation of General Meetings of Shareholders versus changes in communication, planned changes in insider reporting or investor relations versus ESG.

On the first day of the Congress, as part of the panel “Communication and supervisory actions”, Managing Partner of FORTON Legal, Wiesław Łatała, counsel, together with Robert Wąchała, discussed aspects of the Polish Financial Supervision Authority’s supervisory actions concerning issuer reporting, inappropriate mode of publication of inside information, important information in a press release and market monitoring. The following day, Wiesław Łatała and Aleksandra Łatała-Kremer, Ph.D., led a practical workshop on difficult insider information.

The congress was an excellent opportunity to provide participants with practical knowledge, as well as for those responsible for investor relations in listed companies to discuss and exchange experiences.
