We advised on the conclusion of a preliminary agreement for the sale of shares in ALMUS to Velvet CARE, the Polish paper hygiene products giant

Our law firm’s team provided legal advice to ALMUS in the process of preparing, negotiating and concluding the transaction documentation. The closing of the transaction is subject to the approval of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection.

ALMUS is a family-owned company founded in 1997, with its production plant in Słomniki. The modern factory has 5 processing lines, with a capacity of 70,000 tonnes per year, which produce toilet papers, paper towels and professional products for institutional customers. ALMUS is a supplier of products sold as private labels to retail chains in Poland and abroad, as well as a manufacturer of paper products under the Almusso brand.

Velvet CARE is the largest Polish brand in the paper hygiene products industry, boasting 125 years of history and experience. Velvet CARE is a manufacturer of hygienic products under the Velvet brand, as well as own brands of retail chains. The company achieved a historic success in 2022 by exceeding PLN 1 billion in annual turnover.
