Wiesław Łatała

One of the founders and the Managing Partner of Forton Legal Łatała and Partners sp.k. law firm.

His experience in providing legal services to business entities extends over 30 years. In his practice, he advises companies from the Polish market as well as foreign markets. He specialises in capital market issues, and for many years has participated in the listing of companies on the regulated market of the Warsaw Stock Exchange, the preparation of prospectuses and proceedings before the Financial Supervision Authority; he also advises on the information policy of companies listed on the stock exchange. In addition, provides services in the area of capital group structuring. Expert in M&A transactions, restructuring and reorganisation of business entities, public and sector procurement. 

Holds numerous position on supervisory boards of many capital companies in Poland and abroad. Author of publications in the legal press as well as speaker at conferences on capital market law.

Graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków, Postgraduate Studies in European Law at the Jagiellonian University and Postgraduate Studies in Accounting and Taxes at the Cracow Business School at the Cracow University of Economics. From 1990 to 1998, he was an assistant to Professor Ireneusz Weiss at the at the Department of Economic Law at the Jagiellonian University. Qualified as a legal advisor and tax advisor. He speaks English.
